Eftirlitsstjórnvöld samkvæmt 1. mgr. 11. gr. laga nr. 78/2019, Lög um öryggi net- og upplýsingakerfa mikilvægra innviða (með síðustu breytingum, sbr. lög nr. 110/2024):
– Orku- og hitaveitur og vatnsveitur: Umhverfis- og orkustofnun.
– Flutningaþjónusta: Samgöngustofa
– Bankastarfsemi og innviðir fjármálamarkaða: Fjármálaeftirlitið
– Heilbrigðisþjónusta: Embætti landlæknis
– Stafræn grunnvirki: Fjarskiptastofa.
Fjarskiptastofa gegnir einnig samhæfingarhlutverki (13. gr.) og starfrækti netöryggissveit (14. gr.), sem hefur nú verið færð til utanríkisráðuneytis.
